Completed Projector Retrofit

Just completed a Morimoto Mini H1 projector retrofit on my parents 2002 Sienna, figured I'd post up to give you guys some ideas. In comparison to stock light output these projectors blow the halogens lamps out of the water.

Here are a couple of pics for now till I get better shots. The projectors were more or less plug and play due to the lock nut and 9003 adapter plate that comes with the projectors. The projectors, bulbs, and relay harness were purchased at www.theretrofitsource.com.

Very Nice!

Looks like my gen3.5 Camry isn't going to be the only vehicle I have with a bi-xenon retrofit.

I believe the 01-02's came clear lens.

I found aftermarket lamps really cheap on ebay before:

I'd recommend getting the relay harness from www.theretrofitsource.com and I cut the DRL wire from the module under the dash.

Yeah, I was just looking at those lamps. Buying the relay harness is a good idea, but I can make a set for much less than what TRS is charging for one. I also don't have to worry with DRLs. My 98 doesn't have them. I may do the retrofit after I complete my Mustang.

Truth. Picked mine up for just 10 dollars when they were on sale.

Are those lenses plastic? Mine are glass. How hard was the fabrication?

Does these install without separating the lenses from the reflector?
