On a brake master cylinder
So it looks like I'm in for a master cylinder for my 2000. Not comfortable working on the brake lines, am off to the stealership.
I can feel the underside of the master cylinder and it's dry. There is fluid dripping from the bottom of the booster. As I recall, the booster does not have fluid in it and what's dripping is probably originating at the connection of the two parts.
Does a booster typically need to be replaced if it's been in contact with the corrosive fluid?
Any caveats before I take it in?
