' performance' springs, shocks struts

just bought a '00 xle. had a '98 xle a few years ago. each van has come after an European wagon (audi A6 and volvo V70 XC). for those who dont know there is a huge difference in how the vans and cars drive-( its a japanese vs. european thing not car vs. van.). all that to say that I absolutely HATE driving the sienna. mush for suspension!

no one lists springs for them but aren't they on a camry platform? are the rear springs and shocks the same as the camry? obviously the spring rates would be different between the two vehicles (at least you would think) but with lowering springs are usually stiffer so seems like would be fine for the van. I just need to find out for sure if they are physically the same.

I know there is plenty of posts about shocks so I skip that for now.

Compare parts numbers on a Toyota parts dealer Website or RockAuto.

I should start there but im assuming the spring rates are different and therefore the pn would be different (even if physically they would interchange). maybe i'll call wrecking yard first. they dont get all wierd when you start talking about interchanging parts)

It is a mini van not a sports car.

Yeah, so I'm in the same boat here. '01 Limited, needs new struts. I know it will never be a sports car but if I'm going to replace anything why not upgrade? What's going to give me the most responsive ride from the available choices?
