Rear-most seats stuck -- FIXED!

I have a 2003 Toyota Sienna. The rear-most seats are both stuck. They are properly affixed to the vehicle bed, but I am now unable to remove the seats. Over time, they became increasingly harder to remove and eventually they can no longer be removed. It seems as though the seat removal levers and the cables they are connected to no longer properly actuate the hooks and levers. Any tips or ideas?

Fixed the rear-nost seats

I finally took a good look at the seat unlatching mechanism and I managed to fix it! Here's a summary:

1. The red lever actuates the set of latches on the rear-most seats closest to the front of the car.
2. I watched the front latches while pulling on the red lever and observed that one set of latches worked while the other did not. Oddly, both seats suffered from the same issue.
3. I started inspecting the various moving parts on the good side of the seat. I observed a metal cable that connect the latch to some various mechnical pieces.
4. On the side with the working latch, two metal plates in back-right and bottom corner of the seat (if sitting in the seat) were contacting which then pulls the metal cable and actuates the latch, releasing the seat
5. I inspected the bad side of the seat and observed that when I pulled the red lever, the two metal plates in what is now the back right bottom most corner were contacting but one was sliding over the top of the other. The result was that the cable was not tensioned and the latch not actuated.
6. I simply, with a screwdriver, bent the offending metal plate into a position so that it would not slip over top of the other metal plate.

Hopefully this help someone else!
