Power Seat will not move forward

I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna XLE. The Drivers Side Power Seat has lost the movement forward and backwards. The motor is trying to turn but the mechanism on the right side of the seat is jammed. Our local Toyota Dealer Repair said it was the gears on the rails that were broken. The whole track assembly has to be replaced for $2000.00. Are the gears available and a procedure for removing the seat, replacing them, and reinstalling the seat?
I found the post by mskhan18 on 11-26-2009. Looks similar but I need to replace the gears. The other issue is if I can get the gears I need a procedure for disassembly of the seat track to replace them. Do the bolts securing the seat to the floor have torque specifications? I don’t have the maintenance manual for this model. I also need to do this in 1 day. We need the van to transport a power chair.

Thanks for any help regarding this problem.

Sounds like you have a very similar problem to mine. Broken gears on the right-side track so that side of the seat does not move.

As far as I can tell the only solution is a new track which you should obtain from a boneyard, or used on eBay. I'm seeing them ell for $100-200. There's no repair kit for the gearbox and it's unlikely we can easily rig a solution.
