Need help with spark plug tube gasket.

I have a torn spark plug tube gasket. These gaskets are on the cylinder head cover and sandwiched between two plates. It appears the plate can not be removed. It looks like it is riveted on, or it's a bolt with a round head. How do you change the spark plug tube gaskets?

You mean the tube seals on the valve cover. Is it right under the spark plug wire? Show me a pic if you have

On the top of the image you can see the underside of the valve cover. The 3 holes have have the spark plug tube gasket. I've been told you can use a large socket and hammer to just punch them out. The new gaskets are not very flexible. I tired pulling one out with a screw driver and it tore.

I've sent the parts off to be cleaned so and will get them back tonight. I hope to have a better picture then.

Oh ok, Yeah those are the tube seals with the valve cover. Normally these seals need a little persuasion to get them out. You can use the method you said by driving them out or a screwdriver, but you can also go to your autoparts and buy a $10 seal puller that will work even better

There is a tab on each one......on the inside.
You can sort of see one of the tabs in this picture, left side of the left most seal.
You can bend the tabs slightly to be able to remove each seal.
Install the new seal in the same orientation as the old one, and then tap the tab back into position.
A small screw driver should be able to help in bending the tabs.
