2000 Sienna Wiper System Glitch

2000 Sienna, wiper motor runs on fast and slow speeds only; intermittent is not present.

Also, the wipers will "park" themselves anywhere on the window when the wiper switch is turned off.

Is there a specific part in the system I need to look at? Prefer not to replace the whole assembly if it can be fixed.

I've got the same problem with a 2000 Sienna. However, I only have front wipers working on high speed. No intermittent, no low speed and they will not park when turned off.

Happened to me to in my 2000. Replacing the motor was expensive and removing the cowl made installing it easier. I'm not sure I have the wipers aligned exactly as they were, so mark their spot before you take tem off.

I thought the old motor could be fixed but didn't go that far, anyone try that?

Is there any other part to look at to determine why the wipers don't stop where they should and the intermittent doesn't work?

Or should I just get a new motor and hope that fixes it?

Is there an easier way to pop in a replacement without going through all this?
