1999 sienna day time running light fuse problem.

I drove home after work with my 99 Toyota Sienna on last Sunday night & noticed that the front lights (low beam) didn’t work, but the daytime running light still works; so I still could drove it home. I thought the light bulb was out of order, so I bought light bulbs from Auto Zone the next day & installed it myself. However; the low beam still doesn’t work after new light bulb installed. I haven’t had such problem ever since over my 16 years driving experience. Sending my car for inspection from Toyota dealer is my only choice, so I drove my car to Toyota dealer on Monday. Finally, Toyota dealer charged me $99 for inspection & reported that the “day time running light fuse is out of order”. I asked technician why the day time running light fuse dead the light still on but low beam is gone. The technician replied it might be due to the circuit design.

Dealer stated "day time running light fuse is out of order" while you're posting that they do work? And you write the running light fuse is dead and they work?

Can you clarify this and did the dealer test the headlight switch contacts?

For $99 they should tell you clearly what it needs
