Canada power door locks going on and off when car not running

2001 Sienna XLE, 205,000 KM: Power door locks switching on and off with car at rest and no key in ignition: All locks affected: Doesn't matter if you lock or don't lock the car. ..still does it as soon as you take ignition key out. Locks physically open and close very rapidly. Doesn't do it when car is running. Any ideas??

How old is your battery? Sometimes issues like this can be voltage related, and replacing the battery will solve the problem.

I have the same problem with my 98 but only if one of the doors is not fully closed and with the key in the ignition. Make sure all your doors are closed. I don't know why it does it though.

Is the remote button maybe stuck? take the remote battery out when it does it to see if it stops.

Battery is good. almost new. locks cycle at will. noticed when filling gas at pump and driver door open or closed.
Another gremlin, like the 3 different O2 sensors that went out within 4 weeks and three visits to the dealer for engine light ON.
I don't think they are related. Locks have been cycling for 2 years before current battery and still continue. I did get the trailer towing wire harness when it was NEW. The van has an occasional odd brake light malfunction when hooked up to trailer lights. HHMMMMMM
