Canada Sienna Spark plugs pricing - OUCH!

Does anyone have an opinion about whether I should replace the spark plugs with Toyota factory plugs? They are horrendously expensive ($30 CDN vs. about half for Bosch Platinum)

I'm thinking premium brand name unless I hear differently.

Theyre expensive, but if your changing them once every 100K its not that bad. I would stick with the original plugs which I show as NGK's part# BKR6EKPB-11 at $28.19 U.S.
Or you could go with the Denso PK20TR11ND $17.90 U.S. Still expensive but not as bad. I havent had good luck with Bosch plugs in import vehicles.

The replacement ones are Irridum tipped, not Platinum....so you cant really compare the price of the two.

Here is a cheaper deal on eBay, 6 plugs/set @ $62 and free shipping.
Denso Iridium Tip IK20 Spark Plugs

These are the plugs that I installed when I changed the OEM at 60K miles.

Go to canadian tire and see what NGK offers for your Van.. it might be cheaper than $30 each.. The good spark plugs are usually expensive anyways.. don't buy bosch.. they're usually shit for japanese vehicles, but good for european and american cars.

I just replaced the plugs on my '99 with OEM, NGK's part# BKR6EKPB-11. Partsamerica.com says the list price is $22 and change (USD), but their price is $8.99. I think they do that to make you feel good about paying $9 per plug. I ran down to Schucks and picked them up, $54 plus tax.

And when you replace the plug (Iridium would be my choice) don't forger to apply some anti-seize grease to the thread of the sparkplug, since they will remain there for many years to come.
