Sienna Steering Problem

I got a '01 Sienna... i just noticed today that when i turn the steering wheel left, it makes some weird soft screeching noises? not sure if it has anything to do with the rain... parents said it happens when it rains and that they took it to dealer a while ago.. dealer said no problem... any ideas what it is?

My brother in law has been a mechanic and profesionally trained at this. Our 2000 Sienna was making the same noise and he noticed that rack and pinion rubber mounts are worn or loose. Found Technical Service Bulletin from Toyota (ST00701) and (ST00399) that deals with these issues
