Fuse Problem with Toyota Sienna

Hi to All,

I own a 2001 Toyota Sienna which actually has been running quite well until just recently. The fuse that controls the clock and power doors seems to blow quite often now and I don't know what that means. When I read the manual it says that this could be a major problem, but I don't know enough about cars to know if this is true or not. The dealer has been helpful, but I pay quite a bit for their help! Any advice? My email if you prefer is marc.invergo@uky.edu

Thanks!

Did you ever discover or fix this problem? Just curious.

I once manually held the cigarette lighter in too long in my 2001 Sienna. The lighter and the clock no longer worked until I replaced the fuse. (Behind the little door to the left of the steering column that I thought was a coin bin or something)

As for the doors, they are a known big problem that does not seem to have a good fix. Both of mine are messed up but are manually operable.

how to I access that area? do I have to remove that little door? My AC outlets are not working and a couple of days ago my wife took the car to the car wash and now the power mirrors are not working. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Yes behind that little door is the fuse box, I suggest you to pull the fuse out and check for continuity out side , the second and third fuse boxes are under the hood next to the battery.
Good luck.

Never mind, just saw the date on this and extend my deepest sympathy if it's not resolved yet.
