I bought my intake -- and to be honest, the only time it's bad it's when it's about 90 deg's outside and you're car is sitting there. The first few seconds it's bad, but once you get going, you feel very little gain.
i'm going to have my car dyno'd once I get some heat shields for the intake arm. That should keep the metallic arm from getting too hot, plus if you take out the original reservoir you should have extra cool air come inward without diverting it downward to the old resonator.
