Sienna 2004

I saw the pictures of the 2004 but am interested about the cargo area. I am a disabled veteran and have an electric lift and scooter. The cargo area needs to be solid, not like the Honda or Mazda. If anyone could respond back with any information I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

what do you mean SOLID? It now has the magic 3rd seat that stows in the floor area, so theres a big "gully" in the floor, so im assuming its the frame of the car right below it... it should be fine..... It is also bigger than odyssey now. If the floor can hold the seats, im sure that chair is fine.

What I meant by solid was that the rear seats did not fold under. Because my lift must be bolted to a solid steel flooring and underneath framing. Otherwise the 200 LBS cart and lift with pull right out of the flooring.

Thanks,

so if you mounted the lift, the 3rd seats would not be able to fold flat.... is that a problem?

No, if the third row seat fold under (Like the Honda) I would not be able to use it because the metal would be to thin to support the lift and cart. But if it is like the 2000to 2002 and the 3 just fold forward then I would be able to mount the lift and weight of the cart buckle the metal.

Thanks

2004 Sienna

Well I was a loyal Subarua owner and lost out when I had to go to a Toyota van, and now the Sienna redesign, so I guess it's back to the drawing board again.

Thanks again.
