Ipod connection thru AUX

We have an 06 Sienna. When playing an Ipod thru AUX connection next to radio it sounds okay. When I connect the 12V charger to the Ipod the sound becomes static. I've got some sort of feedback issue. Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem
Thanks

I have this same problem with my Integra. (I know not a toyota nor a sienna) but it is the same problem. What 12 v charger are you running? the cigarette lighter type charger? i only had problems running a power inverter to run 120 v for a dvd player or laptop and sound would be terrible.

The only thing I would suggest is try the apple made car charger and see if that is better.

You need to connect a ground loop isolator between the I-Pod and the aux input. Crutchfield is one place that sells them.
