headlights are dim

the head lights on my 2005 sienna seem to be a lot dimmer than they used to be. the lenses appear to be clear(i have had this problem on other cars) any ideas? both headlights are working on hight and low beam. just not near as bright as it used to be. thanks. b-dog

Bulbs do get dimmer with age, you can try replacing the low beam bulbs, they sell ones that are the same as original also some that are brighter than original , the caveat is that the brighter ones burn out quicker, I just replaced mine with the newest brightest Sylvania ones, it made a difference. Since on the Sienna when you use the high beams both low and high beams are turned on you may not need to replace the high beam bulbs. Worth a few bucks anyway. Good luck, Andy
