caliper slide boot

2004 Sienna - Eventually I'll need to replace my disc brake caliper slide boots (rubber things that look like mini CV joint boots) because two are a little torn. Is it easy enough to replace those in place or do I need to remove the entire caliper bracket to make life that much easier? Are those simply pressure-fitted or some type of snap or tab-lock?

Thanks!
Greg

No need to remove the caliper bracket. They should come right off without much trouble at all unless the slides have rusted any, then it could be tough, ive had to really fight some of them before that were really stuck in there. Anyways You can certainly remove both caliper bolts, but I just loosen the bottom caliper bolt (14mm) and leave the top one tight..swing caliper up and push the top slide pin part back and out, i.e bolt stays in caliper but slide pops out of boot on the top one. then simply replace the boots make sure to lube them slides up. Once you see how theyre in there you should have no problem figuring out how they go, if you do let me know.
