Last year passenger automatic sliding door was not opening and closing how it should of been working. I did the reset and it worked for awhile then it stopped. I figure I would reset it again a later time which is today and its not working. I currently have the stock battery which is 585cc. Do you think I should upgrade to something higher?
I removed the negative battery cable waited 3-5 minutes, turn off the auto switch and open/closed the sliding door manually, then reconnect the battery cable and turn on the switch. then pressed the open button on the fob...still not working. when i press the button on key fob it will not open (just a clicking noise sounding like its trying to open). Will open/close if you pull door handle towards you.
also did some research that this is a common issue with automatic sliding doors and it cost alot to fix.
Should i upgrade on battery? am i resetting sliding door the right way? what else can i do to solve this problem.
