2007 Toyota Sienna XLE Gas Pedal Clicking
I have a 2007 Toyota Sienna with only 38k miles on it. When I am driving around town or on the highway and depress the gas pedal to slow down without hitting the brake. The pedal makes a clicking noise that vibrates up through the steering column when I press the pedal to accelerate. I used to work on cars years ago and if this happened to an older car I would say it was slack in the throttle cable. The thing is with new cars, it a drive by wire system.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks
I was told by a tech that it was the transfer of energy from slack somewhere in the vehicle.
