Camry/Lexus seems easy. However the Sienna has some strange screws instead of clips which to me seem impossible to get out. If someone has experience with Sienna filters let me know, please.

Changed the air filter today. It seemed complicated in the beginning but once I had access to the back screw. it was easy.
Just unscrew the south and north screw one each. The screws stay in the lid. Remove the fuse cover and unhook the electrical cable that goes into the intake duct. Slide the old filter out and slide the new one in.
Put the filter lid back on. Ensure that the hinge pins are properly aligned to ensure the filter housing lid is back on properly. Put the fuse cover back on. Plug the electrical connection back in.

Tighten the screws and you are all set.

john,

I have a 2008 toy van, great vehicle
but we bought our van used, 48K,
so i think someone must have mess up one of the screws that holds the air cleaner together.

I had a great deal of Difficultly getting the air cleaner housing back together.

had to replace one screw,
all i can say, it was not one of best maintenance performances, for such a simple task.

also note:
our 2008 has another interior air filter, do not believe that one had ever been changed on our used van, boy o boy was it dirty, but it's not that hard to change.

good luck,

Some suppliers show different part numbers for the CE/LE and the XLE/Limited. What's the difference? They appear to be the same size.
