What brand would u recommend for brake shoes?

My '04 sienna is due for rear brake shoe replacement. I am not planning to use oem. Any recommendations? I know there are some choices like wagner, raybestos, beck arnley(remanufactured), centric, etc. Any one has experience with above brand to share, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you

Most good brand names make good replacements. I really have had good luck with the ceramic Wagner pads. Somewhat pricey but zero brake dust and good stopping.

My van is LE with rear drum brakes.
I just got Wagner thermoquiet brake shoes from Rockauto($27.79+shipping). But the box is showing that it is made in China. Very disappointed. It didn't even come with C-washer that other brand names normally come with. Maybe I should order drum brake hardware kit. Any suggestion on hardware kit?or Is it OK to reuse old hardware?
Thanks in advance
Regards,

I would go with OEM hardware, always good to replace while in there. The Italian aftermarket I have used on Toyota drum brakes never fit right.

my son install brakes pads from a local auto parts store on his 2007 lxe.
they made noise, so wife was not happy.

had to take them off, returned them and install pads from Toyota,

After this experience he said, " installing the second set of brake pads, he cut his install time almost in half."

I told him to buy Toyota pads, but he did not listen to me, he had to buy that lesson.

just some advice from someone that has been there and has driven toy vans for years. They are great vehicles.
good luck,

I'll second . . .

. . . the vote for Toyota pads. Work fine, and last a long time. Seem to fit well and last and last. . .

Unless you've had some sort of problem with them (noise, dust, etc) ....here's another vote for OEM pads. Don't try to solve a problem you don't have....you might create one.
