Auto Dim-Interior Lights

Changed the battery on my 05 Sienna, now the auto dimming feature for the interior lights do not work. The driver/passenger lights stay on, then dim after you shut the door. However, the rear passenger lights go off as soon as you close the door.

Does anyone know how to reset this feature? The manual says to contact Toyota. The dealer of course, wants to charge me a
$100 to look at it.

FWIW, I checked my 2004 this morning and that's exactly how my lights work. After the door is closed, the front lights actually stay fully lit for a few moments and then start to dim (unless the engine is started, after which they dim immediately). I can't recall if the back passenger lights have ever dimmed like the front lights, so maybe your van is working correctly.
