Alarm goes off for no reason. NO fix after five dealer trips. VERY DISTURBING

Sienna XLE AWD LT 2005


The Alarm goes off for no reason, mostly at night. When it goes off, it can be stopped by the remote or stops itself. But it will honk again in several minutes, sometimes in 2 minutes, somtimes in 30 minutes. It will keep doing this till the battery is drained.


It has been sent to dealer for the problem for FIVE times. 2 parts were changed (hood latch sensor and battery,drained and damaged,) codes in computer were reset to the VIN condition. STILL HONKS at night!!! HELP Please!!! So, the family and neighbor can sleep.

It is a disaster now.

Maybe you could pull the fuse for the horn every night.

edit: it's a ten amp fuse in the box in the driver side of the the engine compartment.
