04 Sienna VSC activates on dry pavement.

My 04 Sienna VSC system activated several times on dry pavement. We were traveling at speeds of 25 - 40 mph when this occured. The right front of the vehicle felt like it was braking and would pull the van in that direction. Sometimes when this occured the VSC light and buzzer would come on, other times just the VSC light. I called Toyota Roadside Assistance and told them I had 100 miles to go and would not be comfortable driving the van at freeway speeds if this were to occur at those speeds. Toyota was very understanding and had the van towed.

The kicker, since the van arrived at the dealership they can't get the van to duplicate the problem. The diagnostic computer didn't give them any indication that the VSC system was or had activated. Has anyone experienced this problem and had in successfully repaired?

The van has 23K miles.

Thanks

Follow up.

Picked up the van today. Nothing resolved. Found out from another Toyota dealership that their are service bulletins out for the Yaw Rate Sensor and Steering Angle Sensor to be replaced. Unfortantly my Sienna doesn't fit into the VIN range they are currently targeting. I asked the service adviser "if" they were able to duplicate the problem I described (VSC buzzer and light, braking right front) when test driving and when hooked up to the diagnostic computer and no error or failure codes appeared what would they do? Answer: NOTHING even if they had experienced the problem since the computer gave them no indication of a failure or error they would have no starting point to begin investigating the problem.

My take their is a sensor intermittenly out of calibriation and sending what it believes is a correct signal to the computer thus not producing an error or failure code.

What da you know, Update II!

While the Mrs. was driving today the VSC system engaged again less than 24 hours after having the van at the dealership for the better part of three days. I called the dealership and surprise, the service manager was just going to call me. Turns out that their is a bulletin fresh off the Toyota press that addresses the problem. I was informed that a Stering Angle Sensor has been ordered to be installed on our 04 Sienna.
