Remove 3rd row?

I'd like to remove the 40% section of the third row (for the long-term, not repeatedly in/out). Can this be done at the floorboard attachment points, reasonably cleanly? Figure the three connecting arms would go away along with the seat, just leaving the connection parts & plastic covers?

Wouldn't it be easier just to stow them away or are you trying to keep that space for carrying stuff as well?

Yes that's it, want to get rid of the 40 section to clear out both the well behind the 3rd row and floorspace beside the 60 section.

Wife is at work with the van or I would go take a look. I am sure it can be done with some simple hand tools. For me, I always at least try. At least it lets you know 1st hand what you can and can't do.

Good luck!

Looks like you can do it by removing the anchor points. Just make sure you keep an inventory of what was taken off for future reference.

I have taken both 3rd row seats out. Just start prying the plastic covers up and the mounting bolts will be revealed. I have made a floor panel in 2 parts to cover the floor space and put a carpet piece over it. That gives me an accessible big storage bin under there and a big flat floor behind the second row seats. The anchor points for the upright seats don't come out easily and don't need to; they don't stick up much and a neat thing, say cool today, is that each seat can be lifted onto them and set up if/when needed and pretty easily removed and stored back in the garage.
