eibach was going to build us springs if we got a group of 50 but after we got all the participants, they (eibach) elected not to push through... perhaps you can get something going?
I just got my SE and I'm down to buy the springs if they lower it an 1"...anymore than that would not be good for me especially with a hitch on the back. I guess I always could put the airlift on the back.
If you guys do a group buy...I'm in for sure. Maybe we could try to get 100 people...maybe that would get Eibach's heads out of their a$$es.

I'm in for a group buy as well. The van screams lower me please. Cutting he springs is not a option as it ruins the ride, and scarfices the handling, not to mention the ghetto spring rate.
I really don't want air suspension either as the ride is too stiff and you have the annoying compressor.

I had a few cars on air suspension and through my own experience air rode smoother then stock at the right psi in the bag. The more air in bag = bouncy, the less air in bag = stiff, & just right air in bag = cadillac.

My SE already hits the ground when I enter certain shopping centers. I don't think lowering would be a good idea on the SE model. The bumpers are too low. It hurts my guts to hear the front and rear bumper hitting the ground.

I would say, you are not entering the driveway at a great enough angle then. Drive it like a sports car, my wife hasn't rubbed once. If she can do you, you can do. Sounds to me like you are ramrodding it straight into the driveway...not good bra, that is grounds for grindage. :-(
I just went on a rode trip to California where there were super steep hills and driveways. I have a hitch on the back....guess what, I didn't hit a damn thing. It's all in how you drive it. It will get trickier if I lower it an inch, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the SE come with 18" wheels? And if you put 20" on them, don't you add 2" of clearance to stock? Maybe that's why you haven't ground against anything?

SE's come with 19" rims wrapped with 235/50 series tires. 235/50 gives you an overall diameter of 28.3 inches...
you can get 21 inch wheels with 255/35 series tires and still be lower because the overall diameter of 255/35-21 is only 28.2 inches.

What ACS Rob said. Biggoldfish, I hope that sheds some light for you because the tire size isn't the issue here. Just try not to ramrod your mini van up the face of driveways and you won't bottom out so much. You can always google "wheels size calculators" so you can view the overall tire diameter.

Thanks Rob and moto for clearing that up. I never try to drive straight onto or into a driveway. The moulding of my LE is low enough to get me worried whenever I angle park. LOL! I'm lucky that my driveway slopes down so no scraping the front but that excludes me from getting side rails.
