Hi everyone,

I just got a very good deal on a used 2011 V6 LE with ~7,000 miles on it. However, the van was not built with a keyless entry system. Is there a part from Toyota that can be purchased to add the keyless entry?

Your best bet is to get an aftermarket unit installed. Do you have power door locks? If so, it'll make the install easier. You can also add remote start to the unit. Just make sure you have the grey key cause that's the one that has the rfid chip in it to disable the kill switch.

Thanks for the info. However, after going over this with the dealer many times and calling them out on the fact that their listing said the van included keyless entry, they did a scan on the vehicle and found out it had the remote entry device as well as three remotes paired to it. Of course they have no idea where those remotes are but they are providing two new ones at no charge and they wiped the codes for the missing remotes from the car. I appreciate the assistance though!
