A few things left on my list are to tint the taillights, tint or paint the front chrome grill trim, LED turn signals and a DROP if someone actually makes a springs for this vehicle.
i mounted the amp under the front passenger seat. the amp i used had a small footprint so i was able to mount it parallel with the vent underneath so air flow isn't going to get interfered with. if adjustments are needed to be made on the built-in x-over of the amp, i just need to slide the front seat forward to gain access so it works perfectly.
VERY NICE! Now I wish my wife would let me mod it out like yours but highly unlikely. Probably only do the LED interiors and change out the outside bulbs to stealth (not LEDs since I don't want to deal w/resistors). Debating on adding a mesh grill on the front (bottom) though and eventually painting the upper front grill matte black.
Here is my 1st baby....then came along an audi s4 (wifey's) that was modded VERY LIGHTLY and now the FAMILY VAN. Still very hard to adjust coming from a MB GL450 (2011 model). Once you drive european/luxury, it's hard to adjust to a import. It's also hard to swallow that these minivans got a 2 STAR CRASH RATING for head on collision on the passenger side. I guess no more fast cars =P But it's very practical and bang for the buck type of vehicle.
BEFORE PIC (just got it repainted and new CF flippers)
rob, I was in the group from 2002 through 2006 roughly for the nor cal area. Did a few shows here and there until I got married and settled down in 2007. The nor cal chapter never really tooked off but I did know Manu. As for the wheels, I used to have SSR GT3 but bent them several times before I couldn't handle it anymore and ended up buying Linea Course wheels...they are LM replicas. They are made at the Rota factory but they are seperate companies using different equipment....not Rota's but supposedly Kosei's equipment when they went belly up.
oh, ok. i don't think i've seen your car in person. i've been to a couple show and meets. SSR's were nice wheels... i've always wanted a set but they are know to easily bend. SSR = super soft rim is the common forum lingo. lol linew course makes the best LM reps imo.. did u get them from zoeb?
Yup I did...wheeldude =) I couldn't stand fixing the wheels anymore so just settled for these. Any other plans for the Sienna? I just bought the nav/dvd bypass module. I'm still debating on those chrome side moldings. Also, have you attempted to swap the front grill w/the SE front grill? Do you know if it's a simple thing to do?
nice! not sure what other mods i want to do to this van. i'm going to smoke the taillights and black out the front grill chrome trim next. i have the SE so i never messed with the grill.
Rob, how did you remove the wedge bulb in the dome lights for the 2nd and 3rd row? It took me hours to just do the 2nd row because I couldn't get a good grip on the bulb, so I ended up tearing out the inside mirror reflector. I have yet to touch the 3rd row hoping there is a solution. I accessed the bulb through the white plastic cover since I didn't want to try to pop out the whole housing in fear that I may tear the felt off the ceiling.
Also using a needle nose plier, a screw driver was unsuccessful. I ended up pushing the actual socket inside the roof and I had to try to retrieve it w/a plier to pull it back out. It was much easier once the mirror reflector was torn out but it's a method I don't want to attempt again for the 3rd row seating.
FYI: I'm using the flat LED panels w/the universal socket adapter for it.
Thanks Rob! Also, what type of bulbs do you have for your reverse bulbs? Do you have a recommendation? I figured the brighter the better when backing out using the rear view camera. I know they make those LED license plate frames but it's not to my liking.
