Help. Help: May be a good deal!!!!!....

Hi All: Quick update

For my trade-in: $30,000/-

For New 2011 Sienna Limited: 43,500 with 0% APR for 36 months. This has AWD Premium Package and Convenience Package.

My Trade: 2010 highlander SE model with 7000 miles with Remote start, Alarm, road block paint protection film on hood, back and front bumpers, head lights and mirrors.

I do not know how much I can haggle for a better price BUT I will continue.

Please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible.

Many Thanks

Before I bought our Limited AWD Premium/Convenience...I searched pretty much every dealership. Most dealership was quoting me around $42ish w/the $1000 rebate. So your price is pretty much right on track. The cheapest I found but later found out it was more of a ploy to get me in the door was Toyota of Fairfield, they had one priced at $40.6k.

I ended up purchasing at Toyota of Vacaville for $43,100 w/the special 1.9% for 5 years. Also purchased extended warranty up to 7yrs/100k for $2495. I'm driving this minivan to its death. I think I got pretty much at their invoice price. You can always use ZAG from AMERICAN EXPRESS to help assist you on pricing. Most dealerships won't go below invoice...it'll be more or less $200-$500 off invoice for a 2011 if you are lucky.

I would take it and run. They might be a little high on the '11 ($1,000 at most) but they're higher on your trade too. All works out the same in the end.

They are selling you the Sienna for about 1200 over invoice (with another 1300 in holdback) so the $30k for your trade-in is a fictional number presented to make you happy. They are probably really blowing the Sienna out @ 1k under and giving you $27,800 ACV.

If you're happy with it then by all means get it! $1200 over on a $46k vehicle isn't bad.

I was waiting for you to comments. Thanks

After going thru' all the threads, I have learnt that on an average everybody is paying the same price of $42,000-42,500 for 2011 if I noticed it right whether they have trade or not.

The dealership inside info about hold back will be useful for further negotiations. I really appreciate you for providing this.

Where I am beating my head is to see which model year to go with. Is 2011 or 2012? Since, I will be losing money, I wanted to save some money on the MA excise tax. I do not know which year will save me some money on tax.

On the other hand, if it is 2012, they think it not like one year old because of the model year and will be good for future dealings.

Please share your thoughts.

Many many many Thanks to all of you...
