Plastic Bumper (back and front) Color Vs Body

I do not know whether anyone of you noticed. I see a slight difference in the color between Plastic Bumper (back and front) Color Vs the colored metal Body. Now, I have a road block paint protection film on the hood and the bumpers and the difference is clearly visible. Is this natural.?

My color is sky silver metallic.

Did you notice the difference before or after the clear bra? PPF is less noticeable on darker colors. On light shades like white and silver, what you're seeing is a minute hue of the adhesive. But from 3+ feet you should NOT see any color differences. I have never heard of Road Block PPF, but did they offer you lifetime warranty? I have Ventureshield with lifetime warranty for peeling and yellowing, and I don't see any color diff.

I have a life time warranty. I did notice a small difference before the film, but was very slight but now a little more noticeable. I also agree with darkers not showing it much because my highlander is metallic gray.

Thanks

I can see it on our Blizzard Pearl before and after film. Can see it on rear bumper as well. Depends on the lighting...fwiw I've noticed this on about every vehicle painted in US for the last ten or so years. Like mentioned, less obvious on darker colors. Plastic takes paint different and I don't believe the current paints we can use really work well between plastic/metal. We can probably thank the EPA.

If you drop by any dealership.... Honda, Toyota, Chevrolet... etc, and look at a row of cars all parked in a line (in the sun), you will see that plastic bumper covers RARELY ever match the metal body. This is especially true on metallic paint colors. Paint does not adhere (or lay) to plastic the same way it does to metal so paint out of the same mix can look a bit off.

It is not a defect. it is a characteristic.

I've noticed it on mine as well. But I attributed it to the difference in materials painted like everyone else said.
