Paint protection film on Head lights

Now, I have a road block paint protection film not just on the hood and the bumpers (front and back) but also on head lights and fog lights. I see a kind of haze or so (unable to explain what it is) on the head lights itself. Is this okay?.May be these are fingers prints or so when the film was being attached to the headlights. Separately, will this film damage the head lights etc..I have a convenience package with HID's
Thanks

I had a few small spots on my headlights too at first, but soon disappeared. Try to expose them to sunlight for few days and the haze should go away.
Paint protection film in no way will damage your lens. I've had them on all my vehicles. These will prevent the old hazy yellowing of so many headlights you see on the road.
On the first day or two after install, make sure you inspect the film to make sure all edges adhere to your panel. Some areas like corners, a tiny piece of film will lift. I just press them back down, and that should do the trick. I'm very happy with mine.

I will follow your instructions with pressing the film where it lifts. Unfortunately, we are going thru a rainy period for a while. You said in your signature that you have 20% tint, what manufacturer's tint is that?

I can't recall the brand of tint used. I can call the shop tomorrow if you want. They offer lifetime warranty on film and labor. He charged for the two fronts and no charge for the two little triangle ones in front of the front doors.
Before I left the shop, he said don't put your windows down for 2-3 days. I replied, OK. So....what did I do as soon as I got in the van to back out of the shop?.... Yep, I rolled it down
Fortunately, the install was very good. The tint held up, and no damage was done.

Is tint allowed in the front? Won't we fail inspection?

Tint is allowed on the front, just not as much. I want to say 35% is legal on the front. Regardless, I just roll all the windows down and disconnect the switch when I go in for a sticker

As far as film on the headlights, I'd say don't worry too much about it at first. It will take some time for it to settle, from experience as I've had it put on a ton of cars I sold.

Not sure about MA law, but in MD 35% is supposedly legal. It all depends on the popo. If you go by the rulebook, 35% is not cuz factory glass already come tinted. Together....you are darker than 35%. We don't have annual inspection here in MD
