I'm just curious as to what kind of numbers you guys are getting on these new engines. I have the 3.5 V6. I realize the numbers will vary depending on the type of driving. I do about 70% hwy and 30% city. With about 1200 miles on the clock, I'm getting 24.7mpg....impressive number for such a large boxy vehicle. Probably high 20s in constant hwy.
About 25 on long highway trips with the speedo in the 75-80mph range. Everyday schlepping we're getting right around 20mpg. Previous Ody got 17-18 on the day-to-day and 23 on the highway and it had the fancy-pants VCM (and a hilarious epa rating of 28). No complaints here...as far as mpg is concerned.

Mine is AWD V6 has 150 miles or so. I am very soft accelerator (soft pedal), I never went over 2000 RPM, very few times I may have gone to 2500. I am driving 100% city and the mileage is 17 on the dash.
sienna currently has 16k miles. i'm getting roughly 21/gal; that's 65% city, 35 fwy. best avg i had was a trip to vegas. i got 26.4 cruising speed avg. 75-80 mph but went over 100 a few times in the open road. had to test the 3.5L..

I'm pretty gentle on the gas too, but I have been to 3k rpm a few times for passing. Traffic around DC is nuts.

Whoa....! How did it feel? I know it's no sports sedan, but how was stability? The 3.5 probably didn't even break a sweat.
I've got 6000+ miles on the clock and on a recent trip up to Canada, we averaged around 26 mpg doing 75-80 open freeway. Van fully seated with four adults and 2 children. With luggage and cooler full of ice and refreshments.

mine is about 6K right now. Average is about 20 for 60% hwy.
Best log mileage is a 900 mile trip to Nor Cal doing about 85+ on the open I5 is about 26.7.
On some part of the trip I did take it to about 100 for about a miles and back down to normal speed. Very stable for such a big box.
The 3.5 take on the Tejon pass/grapevine I5) at 80+ like dream machine so does the Cajon pass on I15.
5k miles on the clock. We average 80% hwy / 20% city. Average mileage 22mpg. We'll see between 25-26 on long road trips. This is all based on the trip computer which seems to estimate mileage a little high compared to my manual calc.
If you're talking city driving: 14-15 mpg in NYC. I have a light foot.... Now...
