cupholder/glove lights

well, just picked up my handicap accessible converted Sienna SE yesterday. But, notice a few annoyances.

anybody having issues with not having lights in these areas? I guess it might just take some getting used to for the cupholders but there is no lights to illuminate these areas. Also, the color of the interior lights are just nasty. I can see why some of you guys change them out.

There certainly will be some customization and projects on this vehicle for me.

I find the interior lighting on the Sienna very poor. I've noticed on the forum that you can buy LED lights that seem very bright and more natural that the OEM ones..

I really miss the always-on LED from our Odyssey. It was aimed down on the console/floor area but did not interfere with driving at all. I've been thinking about trying to install something like that in all my vehicles. Plenty of places to catch power up in that button heavy overhead console.

Are these easy to install and how many do you need to retrofit all the lights?

took about 10-15 minutes to do all 6 cabin lights. you'll also need one for the trunk. it's a different style bulb but i still used a 12-led panel.

yes, replacing light bulbs are going to be first priority. For some reason they just really stuck out and bothered me. I'm researching HID's to see which route I'm going. Depending on how easy it is, it may have to wait until spring as its getting cold here to be taking things apart.

HID's are an easy upgrade. should take no more than 1hr for a first-timer. no dismantle required except for the bulbs.
