SE snow chains

Has any one bought and ran chains on their SE's stock 19" rims. Leschwab told me I couldn't get chains for it, and that I would have to put smaller rims on it and then I could run chains. I find it hard to believe that Toyota would sell a family rig that u couldn't put chains on if u got in a pinch. I looked in the owners manual and it said nothing about not being able to install chains. I don't plan on running them but if the passes say chains required them u must put them on. Thanks for any info.

The question isn't whether they make chains for the size...obviously you can get chains for any size. The question is if there's enough clearance to run the chains on your particular vehicle. The SE doesn't have any larger overal tires/wheels than the other models (technically 2-4mm at most). My take would be if you can run chains on any Sienna you can run them on the SE. I would think a low-profile chain would work just based on a visual inspection but there's not a lot of room in the wheel wells on these things.
