3rd Generation Speaker bleed-over

I get speaker bleed-over, I can hear my speakers outside of the car with the doors close. How and what do I used to fix this

Turn down the volume?

When has this NOT been true with a car stereo? I'm missing something...

OK...but I wasn't questioning the validity of using the radio, just wondering why you think the car should be soundproof. An iPod with headphones would solve the problem, too...

Yes but a Ipod with headset doesn't alowed me to hear outside sounds, like if someone is try to get the drop on me.
