I'm going to assume this kit is for sienna's that don't have an IPOD hookup already in the van?

That would be safe assumption for satellite ready HU. Here is some more info.

Specifications: KIT DOSE NOT INCLUDE IPOD!!!!Requires audio head unit to be satellite ready. Some premium audio units have embedded XM and conflict with the iPOD Interface kit. The 2009 Corolla and 2009 Matrix with Premium Audio (JBL) has embedded XM and conflicts with the iPOD Interface. Some base grade audio are not satellite ready. Either iPOD or Sat Radio can be installed, not both. If the iPOD Interface kit is conflected, then the AUX input jack should be used with the iPOD player.
