Humming Sound from AC/Heater

Hello all,

I have a Sienna 2011 with 30000 miles. Recently, I noticed that when I start the engine after a minute or so I hear a humming sound (I guess it's coming from behind of the glove box). It usually go away when the car warm up (on idle not driving, after 5-10 mins). It does that mostly when the weather is cold. If I turn of the AC it goes away. The sound is very loud. I did not have this problem before. I took the car to the dealer and they said that's normal. I have only 6000 miles left on the warranty and want to fix this issue ASAP. Have you had this problem? Please let me know what I should do.

Mine does it too when I pull out of the garage and sit at a stop light. I think it's the motor idling hard because it's cold. I wouldn't worry about it. If the dealer says it's normal, then I don't think there's anything to be done to fix it.

I take my van to the dealer again today and this time they told me that the AC blower is bad. they are going to replace it under the waranty.
