I had my cell phone near my speakers once and it made noise before it rang like you're saying, but that was about a week ago and my speakers do that every few minutes now and my phone is nowhere near it or ringing. Maybe they're picking up microwaves from things? Is there any way to make this stop? It is very annoying and this is the only site i've found anyone talking about this happening. If my speakers are permanently damaged it would be nice to know and fair warning to anyone else to put a cell phone near computer speakers.
