I thought so too. I had a pair of Monza dual tips with resonators coming out the back. On the Rubicon, I dropped the rear of the truck three feet onto on a rock (on the slabs). The tips didn't cave at all but they did dent the hell out of the valance above when they were pushed into it. Surprised me.
