EDIT: Oh and thankfully it has never been hard enough for it to hit the glass or break it but there are some nasty plastic scratches.

Yes, I agree Sean. Some people just don't understand company politics. You can't say "get me a company car if you are going to treat it that way, or don't ride with me" Obviously these guys, don't work in a corporate world. Given that we are in a recession and it's an employers world, it makes it even worse. I;m not saying let them abuse your car, but you can't "tell them to give you a company car or don't ride with me if you are going to treat it that way".
How about slowing the retractor speed somehow. Will that work?
