The damn sound had gone for a while after having the A/C and fan on high for a couple of days because of the heat. Took it to service and now its back again. I had shown it to the shop foreman at the dealer but he couldnt hear it. He also had one of the other guys at the shop trying to hear it but he couldnt either. It was not as loud since the car wasnt moving.
From what I can access the sound only comes when:
The air is on the dash vent (not the glass) and the dash vent/knee combo
When the car is doing about 20+ mph
When the fan is 3/4 speed to full speed. If it goes to full speed its very hard to hear it but its there
Im scared to take it to the dealer because I dont want there to be rattles and such if they tear it apart and look for the problem. Has anyone had this problem before and know exactly what it was so I suggest that to the dealer other than them having to tear it apart and find it?
The suggestion from the shop foreman was that to drive a brand new car and see if the sound is there, if not then make an apt where the they will tear the dash apart and look for it. He took the filter out from under the glovebox and it was full of leaves but even without a filter there the sound was still there.
Any help would be wonderful!
Also, forgot to add, the sound started after driving about 1000 miles to Tampa and back on business.

My brothers 99 Honda Civic had a problem like this at once but a LOT louder and it was leaves stuck somewhere near the fan.
