We owned a 2005 SR5 4-door. Great truck. Traded for a 2007 Limited CrewMax. Even better truck.
Just traded the great 07 for a 2009 CrewMax Limited with all the fancy stuff, including Bilsteins, 2-inch risers, deep-tred, knobby off-road 18-inch tires, rear-facing TV camera (to line up our Equalizer hitch -
http://www.equalizerhitch.com/ ), and the AMP Research Power Step (good assistance for our handicapped daughter and
la esposa). The 20-inch rubber on the 2007 was a fine boulevard/highway performer, but not so durable when pulling a 10,000-lb toy hauler on gravel roads in Montana.
Never having seen color-matched edge guards specifically for the 2007 CrewMax, I finally bought four 4-foot sections of matched edge guard for the 2009 from
www.eurobumper.com which is based, I believe, in NY. For a total of $30, including shipping, the cost varies from about 25% to 40% of what other sources quote. $90-$100 seems pretty typical . . . and most sites seem not to have the full range of Tundra colors.
