After reading through various forums about that topic, I didn't think I was going to be able to play videos off of the ipod touch. Only the 5th gen ipod video worked. But to my great surprise and pleasure, it does actually work! Now I can watch all my video podcasts, and just burn all my DVDs into ipod compatible size/format and just play them from my ipod... SWEET!
