disclaimer:

i am not familiar with your car, this is general advice based off of observations of tons of yota carbs across a bunch of years.




toyota sets the mixture at the factory, and on most carbs you have to drill out a plug to adjust it.

it is way more likely that you have a malfunctioning emissions system then the carb needs adjustment.


i would check ALL vacuum lines for cracks/stiffness/ or being plugged. if you havent changed the vac lines yourself or had it done in the last couple years i would do that. just do one line at a time so as to not get confused.
