Dude I doubt it is a V6. Supras never came with a V6. Only option was an Inline 6. If it is a 3.0L though then you have a 7mge which is a very good motor..well they are good motors as long as you keep them well maintained. I would check everything out though because if it is a 7mge then someone did a swap so you should make sure everything was done correctly. The 83(2nd gen supra) is a very nice car. Idependent rear suspension. I don't think yours came with an LSD but if you go find a newer cressida or a 3rd gen supra you can take the whole differential from it and drop it in your supra and have an LSD. I also beleive you can get some aftermarket suspension stuff for it. www.185performance is a good place to check out for suspension parts. As for the motor there are a ton of things available for it if you do indeed have a 7mge. If you have a 5mge which is what came with it then you might want to consider swapping in a 7mge or even a 7mgte which is the turbo version. I don't know for sure but I don't think you can use to many parts from a 7mge on a 5mge.
