Ok first of all a Celica Supra and a Supra is the samething. The first two generations were called Celica supras because they were based off of the celica and then starting with the 86.5 model they dropped the celica part of the since the celicas went to FWD in 86 and the supras were not based off the celicas anymore. As for your "V6" If it truly is a V6 then whoever owned that car before you is a moron because you have to be a moron to take a smooth running inline 6 and put a rougher running V6 in it. If it is a 3.0 then that means it is a 3vz and those did not run that smoothly. However I just think you need to take a picture of the engine bay because I almost garuntee you that it is an inline 6. Like I said before no Supra every came with a V6 they only came with inline 6's and if you don't beleive me how about you just go to any Toyota dealership and ask them since you don't beleive a guy that is a certified Toyota technician and whos dad has been working for Toyota for 30 years so I guess I can't be beleived so go ask someone else they will tell you the same thing.
