In a car that small, I would drop the rears alltogether. Use the money towards a good set of components for the front and pickup the 4ch. A good 5 channel is expensive and if you decide to upgrade your subwoofer at a later date, you can buy a mono amp.
I have sat in a Cavalier with only fronts and subs and to be honest, I couldn't even tell that the rears were removed.
Also, not being a fan of bandpass, I would go with a proper vented/ported enclosure.
