I was wondering if anyone who lowered their solara, noticed that their ABS light stays on now. I just had the ebaich springs 1.6'' drop and KYB struts added and my ABS light is now on. The guys at the shop (Driver's Image) Said this usually happens when they drop toyota's and that the breaks are fine. They said just to have the dealership turn it off next time I bring it in.....Anyone know anything about this ??
Go back to Driver's Image and tell them that they snagged one of your sensor wires, and tell them they will need to pay for costs to repair it if necessary. It is probably your right rear one. I had the same problem when I just had the Eibach springs put on my Camry by a friend. Luckily, my dealer replaced the faulty sensor under warranty.

Also, unless you know the guys at DI, please don't go there again, they are less than moronic there. As of now, your ABS is NOT functioning, and whoever told you that should has his ass kicked!!! It's not a simple "turn off" function, and it "usually" occurs only because they are a bunch of dumb asses who are careless. I've put in my Stage III suspension and a set of GC/Tokico on a friend's Solara with NO problems at all. Driver's Image can suck my toe jam.
