Prius 2010 vs Tall driver

I am so excited that the 2010 Prius appears to be better designed for the taller driver. But I haven't read anything about real life experiences. My husband and I have only been able to dream of owning a Prius -- until now. I've been searching on the 'puter without luck to see if this is true. Until I know for sure, I haven't even brought it up to him. I personally checked out a Prius III and the seat seemed more comfortable and supportive (he also has back problems) and it appeared that the seat moved back further in this model, about equal to the leg room of our Camry with the seat all the way back.

Any tall guys out there with a 2010? I've read responses elsewhere saying I'm 6'2" and no problem with the 2009 Prius. But he couldn't even squeeze into the 2009. He is slim and his inseam is 34-36" so his legs are rather long, but not extreme. I notice also the 2010 now has knee airbags, so apparently they have been listening to Tall driver concerns!

If extra leg room for the driver is true, I'll break the good news to him!
