I just had the AC on my 98 Corolla recharged and wanted to compared it to the AC on my dad's 09 Corolla. I felt like the AC in the 98 could be cooler.
I used my very trusty meat thermometer which is very sensitive and quite accurate. On both cars I had the side vents closed, air recycling on. I put the prong inside the center vents on both cars. The coldest the 98 got was 7.1 deg C (44.78 f). The 09 was colder and showed 4.1 deg (39.38 f).
Both cars use 134a
